The collective aim of the Knowledge Unlatched (KU) process is to provide open access to scholarly content, including books and journals, across subjects in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM fields. In 2025, further expansion progressed into the arts, media and cultural studies, international and area studies, business and management.

Libraries interested in supporting our next pledging round of Open Access offerings can pledge their support beginning May, 2026.
Publishers interested in submitting titles for consideration for KU Select 2027 Collection: please complete and submit this spreadsheet by March 22, 2026.
